At The Premium Rx, we specialize in personalized medications tailored to each patient’s needs. Our compounding experts with over 10 years of experience, concierge delivery service, and premium customer service experience ensure that you receive care designed just for you — not a one-size-fits-all approach. We go above and beyond for our valued patients and providers.

Yes. All compounded medications require a valid prescription from your licensed healthcare provider. We work directly with your provider and office to ensure every prescription is accurately prepared and compliant with the highest standards.

Transferring your prescriptions is easy. Simply contact us, and our pharmacy team will handle the rest. We’ll contact your previous pharmacy to ensure a smooth and timely transfer or we may reach out to your health care provider for a new prescription. That's it.

Yes — we provide free local delivery* and statewide shipping. You’ll receive tracking updates by email, so you always know when your medication is on its way.

We take pride in preparing each medication with precision and care. Most orders are delivered within 1-2 business days. Please note that certain customized prescriptions may require additional time due to your provider’s instructions, ingredient availability,  special storage and shipping conditions, or other factors out of our control.

Prescription delivery times can vary depending on several factors, including your prescriber’s response time for authorization or clarification, the availability of specific ingredients, any special compounding, packaging or shipping requirements, and any pending patient payment. Weather conditions or carrier delays may also occasionally affect delivery times. Our team will notify you promptly if your order is expected to take longer than usual.

While we do not process insurance claims directly, many of our patients may receive reimbursement by submitting a claim form to their insurance provider. Because coverage for compounded prescriptions varies by plan, we recommend confirming your benefits with your insurer. Our team is happy to supply a claim form and assist you with the reimbursement process.

Compounding refers to the preparation of customized medications by licensed pharmacy personnel for patients whose unique medical needs cannot be adequately addressed by commercially manufactured products. If your medication isn’t available in the right dosage, flavor, or form — or if a commercial product is temporarily unavailable due to a shortage — our pharmacists can compound a personalized version just for you, based on your provider’s prescription. Please note that compounded medications are not evaluated by the FDA.

Absolutely. In addition to our custom compounded medication services, we can also fill select non-compounded prescriptions. Our goal is to simplify your care — so you can manage all your medications in one place, with the same level of personalized service and attention.

We compound a wide range of preparations, including capsules, creams, gels, troches,  suspensions, and topical solutions—all customized for each patient’s specific prescription. If there is a specific dosage form you are looking for, please contact us.

Yes. Each compounded medication has a beyond-use date (BUD) assigned based on stability data and USP guidelines. The BUD ensures the medication remains effective and safe for use.

“BUD” stands for Beyond-Use Date — the date after which your compounded medication should no longer be used. It shows how long the medication remains stable and safe when stored properly. After this date, it should be discarded.

No — we are a 503A non-sterile compounding pharmacy.
